1. Introduction

Welcome to Eveently. Eveently is a digital marketplace connecting clients (“Clients”) seeking event-related services with independent service providers (“Providers”), including MCs, DJs, photographers, videographers, decorators, caterers, and other event professionals. By accessing or using Eveently, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

Eveently acts as an intermediary marketplace between Clients and Providers.
All services are delivered by independent Providers; Eveently does not directly provide event services.
Eveently facilitates service discovery, booking requests, payment collection, escrow holding, and disbursement after event confirmation.

3. Account Registration

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
Providers may be required to submit identification documents, portfolio samples, and verification details.
Eveently reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts providing false information.

4. Booking Process

Clients submit booking requests via the platform.
Providers may confirm availability for the requested date and service.
Once confirmed, the booking becomes binding. Providers cannot cancel except under extraordinary circumstances approved by Eveently.
Clients must complete payment through Eveently after confirmation.

5. Payment & Escrow System

All payments must be made through Eveently’s official channels.
Payments are held securely as escrow and released to Providers after the event and confirmation by Clients, or after no dispute is raised.
Eveently deducts platform commission and fees before disbursement.
Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

6. Provider Obligations

Deliver services professionally and punctually.
Maintain premium service standards consistent with Eveently’s brand.
Honor all confirmed bookings; cannot reverse or cancel without Eveently approval.
Failure to honor bookings may result in suspension, removal, financial penalties, or loss of payout.
Providers must comply with local laws, licenses, and tax requirements.

7. Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate event details: date, location, duration, and service expectations.
Treat Providers professionally and respectfully.
Do not bypass the platform for payment.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Client cancellations are subject to policies based on remaining time and work done.
Refunds may be full, partial, or non-refundable.
Provider no-shows may result in full refunds and penalties.

9. Service Standards

Eveently positions itself as a premium marketplace. Providers must deliver high-quality services, maintain professional conduct, uphold brand reputation, and avoid damaging Eveently’s image. Repeated negative reviews may result in removal.

10. Disputes

Clients must report disputes within 24 hours after the event.
Eveently may investigate, mediate, withhold payouts, or issue partial refunds.
Eveently’s decision is final.

11. Reviews & Ratings

Clients may leave honest reviews after service completion.
Eveently may remove inappropriate or defamatory reviews.

12. Limitation of Liability

Eveently is not liable for damages caused by Providers, cancellations due to force majeure, or personal/property injury.
Liability is limited to the service amount paid through the platform.

13. Suspension & Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for non-performance, fraud, misconduct, off-platform transactions, or brand damage.

14. Intellectual Property

Eveently’s content, branding, and design remain proprietary. Providers may not use the Eveently brand without written permission.

15. Amendments

Eveently may update these terms at any time. Continued platform use constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
